Gothic Wine Cellar

Obrázek The chronicles say that tap burghers had the privilege to sell wine in the area of Štramberk since 1359. Therefore they founded a town wine cellar which they rented out and where they served only wine. The last lessee until 1852 was the local principal Ferdinand Havránek. Since 2004 the Gothic wine cellar offers quality wine and romantic seating with candles. Local cellar-men will readily help you choose from the offer of one hundred and twenty noble variety Moravian wines. The cosy environment under arched vaulting also houses a permanent exhibition on the whole wine region of Moravia.
