The salt caves in Štramberk 
A vast double-storey labyrinth of salt “houses” in Štramberk was built from several types of rock salt and finer salt obtained by the natural evaporation of water from the Dead Sea.
You can rest and relax in the local salt caves (whose size ranks it among the biggest in the Czech Republic) from 14th August 2009. Besides the tranquil and therapeutic environment of the caves themselves, the atmosphere is enhanced by the magical system of underground passages which should take visitors, still this year, to the beer spa. In the future, therapy in the salt caves can be effectively complemented with further enjoyable experiences. Soon you can relax in the small bottom chamber cave or larger cave in the top floor.
The salt caves in Štramberk also offer for sale a whole range of high-quality cosmetics of the Manufaktura brand from the Dead Sea Tradition line, which is based on the use of unique composition of minerals and other elements from Dead Sea salts and mud.
