Instructions of use of Salty Caves in Štramberk
A salty cave is a place of relaxation and regeneration of organism. We kindly ask you to behave quietly in the cave, do not disturb others by loud talking or conversation. We kindly ask even parents with children. For this reason there are special thematic meetings for children.
Entry for children up to twelve years is allowed only with accompany of an adult person, who is responsible for observing the instructions of use. It is necessary to watch children also by reason of security.
Procedure always begins every hour and takes 45 minutes. It is necessary to come five or ten minutes before beginning of relaxation. The end of relaxation is signaled by gradually turning on all the lights in the salty cave and staff will notify you.
If procedure is in progress it is not possible to enter the salty cave by reason of disturbing relaxation.
We do not recommend people suffering from claustrophobia (fear of closed spaces) and people witch high thyroid function to enter the salty cave. In case of health troubles it is appropriate to consult the procedure with a doctor.
It is forbidden to enter the cave for people with infectious illnesses (cold, flu, diarrhoea, acute tuberculosis…) and other acute illnesses connected with higher fever.
People who consumed alcohol or other narcotics are not allowed to enter the cave.
Entering the cave barefooted, in socks or in shoes is forbidden as well. Clients can enter the cave only in single-use covers for shoes.
It is not recommended to use cosmetics such as perfumes or intense deodorants before entering the salty cave.
It is recommended to breathe deeply (into stomach) in turns by nose and mouth in the salty cave.
We strongly warn you not to touch into your eyes by hands – they can be salty!
Before entering the salty cave clients can leave their belongings in lockers in front of the entrance to the cave. We are not responsible for any damage.
After entering the salty cave clients choose comfortable position on special deck chair. There is a wide range of programmes for children – fairy tales for parents with children. All audio-visual production is in accordance with copyright.
We notify you, that the places of the salty cave (and all the area) are monitored!
In the cave is not allowed to touch salty and water objects or taking out crystal salt from the cave. We kindly ask parents to watch their children!!! In the case of necessity or sickness it is necessary to leave the salty cave immediately and to inform staff.
The end of relaxation is signaled by gradually turning lights on and is followed by opening door by staff. Clients leave the salty cave and put single-use covers into bin, placed at the door of the salty cave.
Circulation of the air is supported by ventilation and air-conditioning in the salty cave and permanent temperature is 20 – 23°C.
Clients are instructed by staff about regime of the salty cave and they undergo relaxation of their own free will.
There is WC for customers.
Cleaning of all the places is done reguraly. Disinfectants are used (Savo, Incidur, Sekusept), which are changed every three months.
Headrest is protected by single-use cloth.
All litter is disposed daily and according to legislation. Bins are washed mechanically and disinfected. We do not produce dangerous litter.
Smoking is forbidden in all the place of the cave.
We recommend to use advantageous pass for repeatable visits, which is filled in with information from your ID card. Sale from pass can be used by another person in company of the owner of pass.
