What makes the Štramberk Beer Baths so exceptional?
Imagine the relaxing feeling that a pleasant bath can give you thanks to its unique composition of minerals and vitamins produced in the process of beer brewing and maturing, complemented with the beneficial effects of Dead Sea salts. Your experience will only be enhanced by massive oak-larch tubs, made of wood originating in deep forests of the Valašské Klobouky region. At the same time you can relish the local yeast beer Trubač brewed in the same town only a few steps from the Beer Baths.
In order to achieve the perfect effect of all the curative processes the entire curative treatment is complemented with a unique aromatherapy. This consists in evaporating hop oils whose formula has been developed specifically for the Lachian Beer Baths. This aromatherapy is based on the long-known beneficial effects of hops on human health, supported especially by antibacterial and soothing processes. These effects are achieved by means of essential oils extracted from the top quality variety of Saaz semi-early red-bine hops – the uncrowned king of hop varieties. The bath itself has beneficial effects on the human body mainly thanks to a whole range of B vitamins found in beer, as well as lupulin, bitter substances and resins contained in hop cones.
The ideal bath temperature of 37–40 °C activates all of these components forming a salubrious combination that has beneficial effects on the skin and supports other curative processes that take place in the human body.
A 20-minute bath is followed by relaxation with a beautiful view of one of the most picturesque towns in our region. You may also choose to enjoy a pleasant massage or to visit the salt caves that are connected with the Baths by mysterious corridors featuring historic exhibits.
