Beseda Gallery
This charming and spacious gallery in the centre of
Moravská Ostrava commenced its operation in 2005. The Gallery displays and
sells quality contemporary visual art works by prominent Czech and Slovak visual
artists: painters, printmakers, sculptors and ceramic artists. It is not by
coincidence that the name of the Gallery reminds us of a name of the oldest
artistic association in the Czech lands. It expresses the intent of its manager
to present the public of Ostrava with cultural and artistic values of the
highest quality not only by displaying works of art but also by other activities
including provision of representative background for the work of the Artists
Union and its Friends of Art Circle in the conglomeration of Ostrava.
Beseda Gallery also features a stylish café. Its offer includes chocolate fondue with fresh fruit and other dainties, incl. quality Arabic coffee.
